Andre Jacobs introduced the chairperson Mr Colin Enzer. The constitution was tabled for discussion and the following amendments are to be made :
Under clause 12 : Financial year to be defined, determined and included under definitions in 1.2
Clause 12.5 : add `association` to read : …at the end of the associations financial year
The constitution was proposed by Etienne Fourie (Legends) and seconded by Reinier van den Berg (Deep Blue Security) and adopted.
The new Board members were proposed and accepted:
Chairperson: Andre Jacobs (The Hout Bay Consulate)
Deputy Chairperson: Rudolf Rieger (On Set Images)
Treasurer: Reinier van der Bergh (Deep Blue Security)
Secretary: Gayleen Evans (Jimmy’s Killer Prawns)
Marketing Director: function to be coordinated in the interim by the Chairperson

The Trustees are to be appointed by the Board at a later date.
A current account in the name of the Hout Bay MOB registered as a Section 21 Company, shall be opened at Nedbank, Hout Bay branch. There shall be four signatories from amongst the Directors, namely, Rudolf Rieger, Renier van den Berg, Andre Jacobs, Gayleen Evans. Cheques and other instructions to the bank must be signed by two of the signatories and in no circumstances shall a blank cheque be signed.
The meeting ended at 18h05 for the second part of the evening a wine tasting by Fort Simon wine farm. The snacks to blend with the wine were provided by Jimmy’s Killer Prawns.
