Vivian Stoffels is an experienced and innovative business owner with 55 years of proven success in the manufacturing, retail, and community development sectors. A dedicated advocate for entrepreneurship and social integration, seeking opportunities to contribute expertise in business mentoring, project management, and community building.
Vivien pioneered the establishment of the first jewellery manufacturing incubator in South Africa in 1993. In 1997 he innovated and implemented a diamond setting and sorting processing system, advancing entrepreneurship in the sector.
He mentored over 200 start-ups and existing businesses in the Western and Eastern Cape. He also coached entrepreneurs to enhance productivity, management skills, and operational efficiencies, Costing, production and operations, project management, computer training, marketing, and customer service.
Vivien’s company Ukunika Educational Trust was established in 2005, focussing on advocating social integration and fostering an entrepreneurial culture at the school level. He further assisted schools with fundraising, marketing, event facilitation, and computer equipment. In 2015 he founded coding classes, providing basic computer skills and game development for young children.
As part of an Entrepreneurial Readiness Program he identified and evaluated new business start-ups including the facilitation of brainstorming sessions with a panel of proficient adjudicators. Bankable innovative ideas with expertise, tools, and essential references guarantied for maximum success.
He further contributed as a volunteer mentor and advisor for the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) as well as an accredited mentor for the London Business School: Sales and Finance.
