Besides culinary delicacies, suburb hospitably, breathtaking landscapes with its heart-warming people, Southern Africa is home to an animal kingdom that gets right into once bloodstream.

Being it Namibia, Botswana, South Africa or any other African country it is overwhelming when, from one minute to another, having multiple species right in front of once eyesight. It has to be seen to believe it is true!

Ovahimba woman in Kaokoveld
Meet with the Ovahimbas in the Kaokoveld of Namibia where in the north the Kunene River represents the borderline to Angola. Next to the magnificent Epupa Falls on Namibian land a rest camp and other accommodations inviting the traveller for a night stay.

Fishing at Henties Bay
There are many places to explore along the shoreline of the West Coast stretching from South Africa along Namibia or along the East Coast to Mozambique and further up the African Continent. Here at Henties Bay we were lucky to catch our evening meal.

This was one Lion out of a Lion's Den of fourteen hidden in the bush along a dirt road about 50 km west from the Okaukuejo camp, Etosha Pan in Namibia
